Even though so likely to kill my joy,
And your words toss my heart like a child with a toy,
I know what it takes, what it breaks to feel better
So I'll tell you right now: keep writing your letter
Keep spilling your heart in those terrible pages
For though they're not likely to last through the ages,
I'll tell you my friend, that if the words there are true
Despite what they say, we will always still love you.

Author's Comments

Even though my ears redden with embarassment at my horrid poetry, I still feel in necessary to post it.
This kinda came upon me after reading someone else's entry.
I suppose you'll know who you are.

Why, oh why, must my friends have such ways with words? You say you're poetry is horrid, I find it beautiful. I would wish for this to be written on my wall, no matter who it is for. I shan't ask, of course, but still...
